Employment Type: Per-Diem Shift: Day/Evening Hours Per Week: As scheduled Hiring range: $17.00- $ 22.74 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Below are the shift differentials based on eligible shifts worked:

• Weekday evening shift - additional 10%
• Weekday night shift - additional 15%
• Weekend day shift - additional 10%
• Weekend evening & night shifts - additional 21%

• Operates vehicle in a safe manner.
• Informs supervisor of any unusual situations or accidents immediately.
• Assists riders entering and exiting the vehicle
• Complies with all traffic safety rules and regulations.
• Assists the department supervisor with the daily activities of the Transportation Dept.
• Inspects and maintains vehicle daily for cleaning and safety Maintains accurate logs per required standards
• Follows established schedules, adjusts schedules to meet unanticipated changes, and determines safest and most efficient pickup and delivery routes.
• Drives specially equipped van to deliver physically limited persons to various destinations; assures that wheelchair lifts and tie down equipment are properly operated and that riders are delivered to appointments in a timely manner.

License/Certification/Registration:

• Valid New York State Driver's License required prior to hire date or job transfer
• Preferred Credential(s): Chauffeur
• Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience required.
