Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Special Requests: Local candidates are not accepted within 75 miles.

Unit Details: Adult patient population. Telemetry and telemetry stroke patient population; some cardiac meds. Ratios: 1:5-6 (this is not a typical PCU and operates more like a tele unit).

Shift & Scheduling: BJC policy: Every other weekend required. Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend. For day shift it is every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday. For night shift it can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday - depends on who already is on rotation. No call required.

Floating Requirements: Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, Telemetry.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
