Coordinator - Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)

Position Type: Student Support Services/MTSS Facilitator Date Posted: 5/28/2026 Location: Academics Additional Information: Show/Hide Primary Purpose: The Coordinator of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) will design, develop, coordinate, and provide leadership for district-level systems of support through the implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. The coordinator will provide training, consultation, coaching, and implementation support to administrators, teachers, counselors, and campus-based leadership teams to facilitate effective implementation of MTSS at the district and campus levels. The coordinator will assist in implementing and maintaining services within established guidelines and standards; direct data collection to determine program effectiveness; monitor compliance with Academic/HB 1416 requirements; and support campuses in implementing consistent MTSS systems and practices. The coordinator will provide guidance to campuses to ensure all students are challenged, engaged, safe, and supported. Qualifications: Education/Certification: * Required: Master's degree in Education, Special Education, School Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field * Preferred: Professional License (LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT) Experience: * 3 years of teaching experience or related experience in the field of education * 2 or more years of experience providing social work or mental health services, preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: * Advanced training and knowledge of research-based practices related to academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports * Advanced training, knowledge, and experience implementing MTSS/PBIS/RTI frameworks at the campus or district level * Knowledge of Academic/HB 1416 requirements, intervention systems, and progress monitoring practices * Ability to support campuses with the implementation and sustainability of MTSS systems and structures * Experience facilitating professional development for teachers, administrators, and campus leadership teams * Understanding of MTSS data systems and progress monitoring tools * Ability to identify needs and coordinate staff development * Ability to develop training and present information to adult learners * Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records * Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Hutto ISD Talent Management & Personnel Support Hutto ISD Pay Scales & Start Stop Calendar
