Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services, focusing on orthopedic acute care, with scheduled shifts during the days. The position requires a licensed healthcare professional capable of managing acute care orthopedic patients, including elective joint and trauma cases, along with neurological conditions such as strokes and spine surgeries.

Job Details:

• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
• Schedule: Saturday, 9 hours, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM; Sunday, 9 hours, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM; Monday, 11 hours, 8:30 AM 8:00 PM; Tuesday, 11 hours, 8:30 AM 8:00 PM
• Required Qualifications: IL license in Physical Therapy; 1+ year orthopedic acute care experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: experience with acute care elective joint and trauma patients along with acute care neurological physical therapy (strokes, spine surgery)
• Certifications: Valid IL licensure in physical therapy required
• Schedule: Days; 8 hours shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week
• Experience: 0+ years required
• Additional Information: No float requirements; weekend work as part of schedule; no on-call or holiday requirements. Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training, available only the first and third Wednesday/Thursday of each month.
