About this Position • Physicians may establish or transition a practice in a preferred market set by licensure and applicable regulatory requirements. Physicians govern clinical operations and clinical decisions while MedCBO provides non‑clinical administrative and operational support. This is not an employed physician position; physicians retain full clinical authority, decision‑making, and ownership of the medical practice. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. MedCBO coordinates payer credentialing with physician participation as required. Determine clinical services offered. Manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary and is generated by the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions. Results are not guaranteed.
