Document Management Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Document Management Lead with 12 years of expertise in document control, information management, and project documentation within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and EPC projects, document management systems, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and compliance with global document control standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end document and information management activities across engineering and EPC projects.
Ensure compliance with global document control standards, project procedures, and client requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Manage the complete document lifecycle, including transmittals, metadata, revisions, approvals, handover, and archiving.
Lead, mentor, and coordinate document control teams across multiple locations.
Develop project dashboards, KPIs, and reports using Power BI, SQL, and MS Access.
Understand and manage document quality requirements and delivery methodologies for greenfield and brownfield projects.
Drive process improvements, workflow automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Support project audits, quality reviews, and information governance activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

12 years of experience in Document Control or Information Management.
Strong experience in Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, or energy projects.
Expertise in global document management standards and engineering documentation processes.
Hands-on experience with EDMS platforms such as OpenText, Aconex, SharePoint, or other document management systems.
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, MS Access, and advanced reporting techniques.
Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Education: BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification.
ISO 19650 certification or knowledge.
Power BI, SQL, Azure, or Information Management certifications.
