Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct critical care nursing to patients in a specialized Heart Failure ICU setting
• Care for patients experiencing acute heart failure, including those progressing toward heart transplant or LVAD implantation
• Manage and monitor hemodynamic support devices including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
• Perform Swan-Ganz catheter monitoring and interpret hemodynamic data to guide patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Prior experience in an ICU or critical care setting with a cardiac focus
• Demonstrated Swan-Ganz catheter experience (required)
• Familiarity with Impella and IABP management
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and assessment skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for heart transplant or LVAD patients
• Background in advanced heart failure or cardiothoracic critical care
• CCRN or relevant cardiac certification
