Guest Services - Blackberry Mountain

Pay rate: $15.00–$16.00 per hour. Responsibilities Strong self‑motivator and ability to motivate others Review daily trays to determine guest needs Maintain a calm & courteous attitude to ensure guest satisfaction Effectively communicate accurate information to guests and team members Escort guests to their rooms with a proper and accurate tour Observe the property for cleanliness and ensure everything is in order Assist with vehicles, parking, and pulling around Prepare all reports for the guest service team Ensure meeting rooms are set up for group use Assist with cooking school and special event set‑up Maintain bikes, bike racks, and golf cart inventories Complete daily rounds to ensure a 5‑star appearance Meet and exceed all guest requests Check‑ins and check‑outs, including luggage delivery and removal Maintain fireplaces and the appearance of the pool Prepare meeting areas when groups are scheduled and for other special activities Set up and tear down outdoor functions Sweep and cobweb outdoor common areas of the property Flexibility with scheduling for weekends and holidays Have excellent knowledge of the property and all its activities Follow instructions from the direct supervisor Knowledge of MS Office Assist guests with questions and greet them upon arrival Provide safe transportation for on‑property or off‑property activities Assist all other departments to meet the guest’s needs Be familiar with the company’s past, present & future Comply with all company policies and procedures Maintain regular and consistent attendance Work well with other team members, managers, and guests Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Hospitality experience required Valid driver’s license Skills Language skills: communicate effectively with guests, team members, and managers Mathematical skills: basic knowledge and understanding of math Reasoning ability: remain calm under pressure, exercise judgment, and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals Physical Demands The job requires lifting luggage and other guest requests (e.g., trays and packages), standing for most or all of the shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, operating company vehicles or golf carts safely, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Work Environment General office/front desk reception area; occasional outdoor work in all weather conditions at Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain.
