Travel RN - Endoscopy

Seeking a Travel RN specializing in Endoscopy. The Endoscopy unit has 9 beds with a team of 11 full-time/part-time staff and 2 PRN staff. The daily staff consists of 6-7 RNs and 2 technicians per day. Patient ratios include an intra-operative team of 2:1 and a pre/post-operative ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients. The unit is equipped with Olympus endoscopes and reprocessing. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS. Experience with manual cleaning and high-level disinfection of endoscopes is required. Candidates must possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team during procedures. Call requirements include 2 shifts a month for opening shifts and 3-4 weeknight shifts per month. Additional weekend shifts may also be required. This position involves caring for high-acuity patients and working alongside specialized physicians.
