RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Telemetry

HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Telemetry unit within the Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this key leadership role, you will coordinate and oversee nursing care on a telemetry floor, ensuring safe, high‑quality, patient‑centered services for a diverse adult population requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you will serve as a resource and role model for bedside nurses, support staff, and interdisciplinary team members, helping to guide complex patient care decisions, interpret telemetry rhythms, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition. As the RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Telemetry, you will participate in daily patient flow management, including bed placement, admissions, discharges, and transfers, while maintaining appropriate staffing levels and skill mix to meet unit acuity. You will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, therapists, and case management to support coordinated care plans, timely diagnostics and interventions, and safe transitions of care. You will coach and mentor nurses in evidence‑based practice, documentation standards, and hospital policies, reinforcing HCA Healthcare’s culture of compassion, teamwork, and continuous learning. In partnership with nursing leadership, you will assist with scheduling, precepting new staff, supporting performance evaluations, and promoting a healthy work environment grounded in respect, accountability, and open communication. You will actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, including monitoring key telemetry unit metrics such as falls, pressure injuries, catheter‑associated infections, and readmissions, and will help implement process changes that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
