CGI Federal is seeking a skilled instructor with prior teaching experience, proficiency in SAP ECC, and strong communication and technology skills to support the Department of the Navy (DON) Financial Management (FM) Training Academy. This role involves delivering both in-residence and virtual training across all FM and ERP system curricula. The DON requires contractor support to ensure its FM workforce is fully trained and ready to meet mission requirements. Through the Training Academy, instructors will deliver three unique curricula designed to build FM technical skills, leadership traits, and problem-solving techniques. These will empower students to apply real-world solutions in daily operations and enhance overall job readiness. This role is key to supporting the DON's broader FM transformation efforts, which aim to modernize financial operations through ERP systems, standardized processes, tested internal controls, and transparent budgeting. The end goal is to equip DON leadership with timely, accurate data for informed decision-making and foster a capable, motivated FM workforce aligned with strategic priorities. Your future duties and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive catalog of instructor-led and asynchronous web-based training courses aligned with DoD Financial Management (FM) Certification competencies across all three certification levels.
Deliver training content supporting the Department of the Navy (DON) and the U.S. Army Financial Management Workforce.
Ensure training courses are Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and meet the requirements of the most current version of DoD Instruction 1300.26, DoD FM Certification Program Policy (DFMCP).
Map all training offerings to the 24 DoD FM Certification Program competencies to the greatest extent possible, as outlined in DFMCP guidance.
Provide Federal Financial Management and Leadership Development training that promotes job readiness and mission alignment across the DON and Army FM communities.
Coordinate with DON and Army stakeholders to ensure training meets evolving workforce development needs.
Monitor, evaluate, and update training content regularly to comply with DoD FM certification standards and policy updates.
Support implementation and expansion of training solutions to meet cross-service COTS training needs, as outlined in the extended contract requirements for Army use. Required qualifications to be successful in this role

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 - $172,400.00.
