Master Diesel Technician

Nextran Truck Centers | Elite Technician – West Palm Beach We’re looking for a Service Technician to repair and maintain medium and heavy‑duty trucks. The role includes preventive maintenance, repairs, disassembly & reassembly, and detailed work notes. Essential Duties Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards. Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts. Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer. Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor. Ensures the vehicle is kept clean and informs the service advisor/dispatcher of any changes in appearance or condition. Maintains and is accountable for all dealership‑owned tools and manuals; returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as received. Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right‑to‑Know; stays abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins. Operates all tools and equipment safely and reports any safety issues to management. Skills and Qualifications High school diploma. Basic computer skills. Up to two years of related experience and/or training as a technician. Valid CDL license preferred, recommended within one year of hiring. Benefits Career paths within a network of 25 dealerships.
