Production Process Engineer

Responsibilities Developing operating process plans to machine or assemble parts for assigned area of the Powertrain department Leading, planning, procurement, installation, trial, and launching of engine/transmission machining or assembly lines Creating and maintaining schedule and budget for assigned area Develop / improve standard tools and benchmarks Lead and participate in cross functional working groups across local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goals Visualize activity plans and schedules to facilitate quick consensus building to secure project priorities. Analyze critical manufacturing issues and clearly communicate root cause and countermeasure plans to stakeholders Requirements Automotive pre-production or manufacturing engineering experience Automation experience including specification, tooling/jig design, equipment procurement, and installation 3D CAD experience (Catia or Delmia) Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) familiarity skills Design for Manufacturing / Simultaneous Engineering experience Internal Logistics experience including route planning, simulations and analysis, packaging, and automation Quality Process Set Up [containment, repeatability, nondestructive inspection] Project management skills including scheduling, budgeting, coordinating, problem solving, and reporting Willing to relocate and work in Office in Georgetown KY #J-18808-Ljbffr
