Corporate Marketing Manager / LGEUS NA Innovation Center Marketing Lead

LG Electronics seeks a dynamic, community-minded person with corporate and group engagement experience to support programming for the LG Inspiration Lab™, visitor engagement for LG Electronics N. America Innovation Campus (NAIC) and other corporate marketing and partnership initiatives.

The LG Inspiration Lab ™ is a fun, interactive, hands-on educational space for elementary, middle and high school students that allows them to experiment with state-of-the-art LG creations. The space lets visitors test out innovations, create virtual art, and imagine the possibilities of technology.

The role of the CM Manager/LGEUS NAIC Marketing Lead is to initiate and maintain an excellent experience for guests scheduled for corporate visits, LG Inspiration Lab K-12 field trips, and other engagements related to the LG Electronics NA Innovation Center. This person will be the main guide for the LG US Corporate building, LG Inspiration Lab and the product showrooms.

As the lead coordinator of scheduled activities that take place in the LGEUS NA Innovation Center, this person will play a key role in curating content for guests to appreciate LGE USA’s footprint. They will oversee scheduling and programming of the HS & MS Showrooms and the LG Inspiration Lab which will include management of the school field trip program. While ensuring that groups are scheduled with no conflict between events, she/he will need to evaluate resources for ongoing maintenance of the spaces and programs within them.

Acting as the liaison between LG and local community, the Corporate Marketing Manager will cultivate and forge positive relationships with educational institutions, children’s recreational groups and other key community stakeholders, while increasing LG’s presence in target communities.

This role may also include managing other corporate marketing programs which may include partnership marketing campaigns, hospitality programs, etc. For large scale, the CM Manager will be charged with planning and execution programs/campaigns while working alongside an external agency team. The candidate needs the necessary skills to collaborate, strategize and execute with internal and external partners.

The candidate will also be responsible for putting on internal employee engagement and CSR events throughout the year.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintain a calendar of field trip appointments and guest/group/press visits for the LG Inspiration Lab and LG product showrooms.
• Responsible for the overall guest experience for all LG Inspiration Lab and showroom visits so they meet the LG standards of luxury, respect, and excellence.
• Responsible for the overall maintenance and updates of the product showrooms and LG Inspiration Lab (as needed) to ensure that all products on display are current and performing properly.
• Effectively manage timelines/schedules, including outlining goals, scope, deliverables, and required resources and budgets for various LG Inspiration Lab projects.
• Manage run of show, scheduling, and training for brand ambassadors or other temp staff that will be hired for events in spaces and programs she/he oversees.
• Clearly and effectively communicates all pertinent information to brand ambassadors and relevant cross functional partners to enable them to provide the highest-level brand experience as a team.
• Be an integral part of all training activities onsite.
• Generate pipeline for future K-12 field trips for the LG Inspiration Lab through outreach.
• Responsible for ensuring LG hosts target number of students/classes in grades K-12 each year.
• Develop community and employee engagement opportunities as well as communication strategies to promote engagement events.
• Ideate creative uses for LG Inspiration Lab
• Generate CSR social impact ideas, moments that might have organic diffusible power for target audiences.
• Manage relationships and collaborate with internal teams and 3rd party partners.
• Ensure workforce policies are adhered to and work with compliance department colleagues for guidance on policies and procedures to follow.
• Other duties as needed

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and five or more years in marketing, hospitality, communications, and/or consumer electronics/home appliance industry.
• Must have experience supervising staff (delegating tasks, setting priorities, coaching/training, etc.) and managing budgets and calendars.
• Requires the ability to plan, organize, and course-correct multiple projects, manage competing priorities, solve complex problems, and meet objectives within established timeframes.
• Ability to translate mission and vision into annual objectives and strategic plans to achieve those objectives required.
• Possess a collaborative spirit and ability to work within a team across a diverse set of perspectives.
• Self-motivated and resourceful with a creative mindset to develop attractive campaign ideas with the ability to execute them.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills are key.
• Knowledge of contemporary educational practices and policies, STEAM education, and/or relationships to local teacher network a plus but not mandatory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn LG administrative platforms.

This role will require a minimum of 40 hours per week onsite during regular work hours. Must be available on occasion to work evenings and/or weekends for potential special events at the LGENA HQ campus or other sites. Some travel may be required throughout the year for hospitality program planning and events (~ 5-10%)
