Role Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a full-time, on-site role based in Fernandina Beach, FL at Osprey Village. The LPN provides direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care in accordance with regulatory and community standards. This role collaborates with registered nurses, physicians, and other care team members to support individualized care plans and promote resident safety and well-being. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to resident needs and concerns, performing assessments within scope of practice, observing changes in condition, and communicating promptly with the clinical team and families as appropriate. The LPN also participates in care conferences, supports wellness initiatives, and contributes to a positive, respectful environment aligned with Osprey Village’s people-first and inclusive culture. Qualifications Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Florida, and current CPR certification. Experience in senior living, long-term care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting, with strong resident-centered care skills. Proficiency in basic clinical skills within LPN scope of practice, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs. Ability to accurately document care, follow care plans, and use electronic health records or similar clinical documentation systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and build trust with residents and families. Reliable time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple resident needs and follow established safety and infection control practices.
