Building Services Manager

Wittenberg Village in Crown Point is hiring a Building Services Manager, $60,000–$65,000 a year, commensurate with experience. Full-time, day hours, with on-call rotation. As Building Services Manager, you'll oversee maintenance, environmental services, and security staff, keeping the community safe, functional, and welcoming for residents and staff alike. What you’ll do Oversee daily building operations across maintenance, security, and environmental services Manage team schedules, training, performance evaluations, and recruitment Maintain compliance with safety standards and applicable codes (NFPA, IDPH) Coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, inspections, and preventative care Chair the Safety Committee and collaborate across departments Serve as the liaison for contractors and oversee facility projects Participate in on-call rotation and step in for routine maintenance when needed What you’ll need Required: 2 years of technical or trade school training, or equivalent experience At least 2 years of supervisory experience Knowledge of CMS-recognized NFPA 101 Life Safety Code Strong familiarity with hand and power tools At least 18 years old Preferred: Bachelor's degree Experience in a healthcare environment Pay and benefits $60,000–$65,000 a year, commensurate with experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 403(b) retirement plan Daily Pay Paid Time Off Tuition Reimbursement WellBeing Mental Health Support 24/7 Chaplain Counseling 365 Program for New Team Member Development Schedule Full-time, day hours, with on-call rotation as needed.
