Operations Scheduler

Austin, United States | Posted on 07/30/2026 Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed projectschedules using construction drawings, specifications, and projectdocumentation. Review and evaluate subcontractor and vendorschedules to ensure alignment with project sequencing, durations, and workflow. Incorporate procurement activities andmilestone tracking into overall project schedules. Lead scheduling meetings with project teams,subcontractors, owners, and architects to review progress and resolvescheduling challenges. Monitor project progress, identify schedulerisks, and recommend recovery plans or schedule improvements when necessary. Prepare impact analyses, schedule updates, andsupporting documentation for management and client review. Develop cost-loaded and resource-loadedschedules when required. Coordinate scheduling data and software withsubcontractors in multi-user environments. Report schedule performance and key milestonesto project leadership and executive management. Support and mentor project personnel onscheduling best practices and company scheduling standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ConstructionManagement, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent experiencewill be considered. 6–8 years of commercial constructionscheduling experience, with field experience considered a plus. Strong understanding of commercialconstruction methods, materials, and building systems. Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 andconstruction scheduling methodologies. Experience preparing schedule impact analysesand recovery schedules. Excellent organizational, analytical,communication, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously while meeting deadlines. Willingness to travel as project needsrequire.
