Shipping & Receiving / Logistics CoordinatorLocation: Holland, MIPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving / Logistics Coordinator in Holland, MI. This is a critical on-site role responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating material flow throughout the facility, and maintaining strong working relationships with internal teams, carriers, and vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesValidate all incoming shipments, verify supplier paperwork, purchase orders, and physical quantities received match all recordsResolve shipment discrepancies with the Purchasing team in a timely mannerSchedule all LTL freight, FedEx, and UPS pick-ups and deliveriesAdhere to all client shipping guidelines including routing and packaging instructionsCoordinate with purchasing, accounting, engineering, and build teams to support continuous material flowEngage build team and engineers in Quality Control review on all incoming shipmentsDeliver timely communication on shipment exceptions, status updates, tracking information, and claim detailsAccurately route and file all purchasing, receiving, and accounting documentationProcess problem invoices through internal platformsInitiate and manage return (PRS) processes including logging and tracking root cause reason codesDeliver materials to job shelves throughout the facility in support of the line side stocking programStage skids and bulk material to plant locations based on point of use stocking programPerform material check-in process to confirm delivery to the build teamLoad and unload machinery and equipment from all types of trucks and trailersTrack and manage fleet car sign-out at the facilityPerform additional tasks as assigned by SupervisorRequirements3+ years of experience in a business, logistics, material management, or supply chain environmentLogistics, Material Management, or Supply Chain background preferredProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong communication skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be willing to obtain Hi-Lo (Forklift) and Overhead Crane certification while employedProven ability to work both independently and as part of a teamDependable, detail-oriented, and professional in all interactionsEducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required
