Summary Of The CT Technologist Role The CT Technologist independently performs advanced imaging procedures using a multi‑slice CT scanner, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety. Key duties include operating imaging equipment, administering contrast, starting IVs, and monitoring patients, while providing compassionate customer service. The role involves participating in team activities and performing diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures as needed. Qualifications Completion of a formal radiologic technology program Licensed as a Radiologic Technologist in Washington Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Within one year, obtain CT‑specific certification (e.g., CT Technologist certification or equivalent) Preferred Skills At least two years of radiologic technologist experience, including one year in a CT department The role offers a comprehensive benefits package, competitive pay, and opportunities for professional growth.
