Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Engage with a close-knit cohort of 10-16 students in a self-contained environment and help shape their academic and social-emotional growth throughout the school year.

Seeking a compassionate and resilient Special Education Teacher who is excited to join a robust mental health/behavioral program. Your expertise in individualized support, patience, and innovation will directly impact your students and school community. This contract opportunity runs for the entire 2026-2027 school year, from September 1 through June 16, with the stability of regular school hours, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid New Hampshire Teaching License (Special Education endorsement required)
  • Previous experience in a special education setting, particularly with mental health/behavioral programs, preferred
  • Ability to implement a range of instructional and behavioral strategies
  • Strong skills in case management, student evaluation, and report writing
  • Proven ability to foster positive, productive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and behavioral support for a caseload of 10-16 students in a self-contained setting
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Perform evaluations, complete required documentation, and participate in ongoing team meetings
  • Conduct case management duties and maintain open communication with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute actively to a school culture that prioritizes student well-being and academic progress
