Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT scans as per the patient's schedule and necessity, ensuring attention to safety and protocol compliance.
• Ensure all equipped scanners and devices, specifically Siemens, are operated efficiently.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols including the use of a personal radiation badge provided by the agency.
• Participate in emergency response teams during the hurricane season, if required.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all scans and patient information accurately using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Possession of BLS certification.
• Certified as NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) and NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT).
• State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography.
• Experience with Siemens equipment is required.
• Ability to accommodate varying start times and respond to facility needs including potential Saturday shifts.
