Endoscopy Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Four (9 hour) day shifts scheduled between Monday and Friday. Start times vary based on daily assignments. Call shifts required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endoscopy procedures and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include assisting with pre-operative and post-anesthesia care in a busy endoscopy unit.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients for endoscopic procedures.
• Provide pre-operative care and post-anesthesia recovery in PACU.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information and procedures accurately in the EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies.
• Participate in on-call shifts as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NC or Compact State Nursing License.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience in pediatric endoscopy or similar specialty preferred.
