Staff Accountant

What You'll Do

• Prepare and post journal entries, including recurring and accrual entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
• Process cash applications and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
• Follow up on outstanding customer balances and support collections efforts.
• Prepare and submit monthly construction draw applications.
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audits and special accounting projects.
• Partner with project managers to support accurate job costing, billing, and financial reporting.

What We're Looking For

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 0-3 years of accounting experience (internships are welcome!).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Interest in building a career within the construction industry.
