Travel - Registered Dietitian - Acute Care

Healthcare Job Opportunity

You will be providing medical nutrition therapy in an acute care setting as a Dietitian specializing in Bariatrics. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Overview

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree satisfying the requirements of a Didactic Program in Dietetics or Foreign Dietitian Education Program as approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• Completion of a Dietetic Internship approved by ACEND
• Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics within 6 months of hire
• Licensed Dietitian due within six months of hire
• Able to demonstrate understanding of current medical nutrition therapy standards for various patient populations
• Displays excellent customer service skills through creative problem solving and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to understand and use all clinical forms, clinical reference materials, and follow departmental policies and pathways
• Must be able to work efficiently and responsibly in an environment with multiple work demands and short time frames
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing medical nutrition therapy in an acute care hospital or facility
• Experience providing, managing, coordinating, or supervising patient nutrition care in an outpatient facility and/or with bariatric patients
