RN - Operating Room (Epic)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | 4x10-hour shifts (40 hours per week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Operating Room setting
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
• Apply professional and supervisory discretion in dynamic intraoperative environments
• Utilize Epic and Cerner EMR systems for accurate and timely clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years (each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used at the same organization)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ACLS)
• Must have successfully completed at least one prior contract or held an employee position; no gaps or unverified work history accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
