Qualifications:

• Current and valid Virginia SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly desirable; consideration given to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
• School-based experience and/or pediatric expertise preferred
• Comfort with teletherapy platforms and remote intervention models
• Demonstrated ability to manage diverse caseloads and collaborate with faculty and families
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and student progress reports
• Engage in regular communication with educators and families to foster supportive learning environments
• Adapt therapy sessions for individual and group needs, in-person or via teletherapy platforms as required
• Maintain thorough records and comply with state and federal guidelines
• Uphold professionalism and adapt to evolving caseloads or site assignments as needed throughout the contract
