Remote Reporting & Migration Analyst - Power BI & Excel

Reporting / Migration Analyst (Excel & Power BI) Location: Remote/Birmingham | Contract (Inside IR35) We are looking for an experienced Reporting / Migration Analyst to support a system migration programme and help deliver accurate reporting capabilities within a new platform environment. Key Responsibilities: Analyse existing reporting processes and replicate or enhance them within the new system. Gather business and reporting requirements from key stakeholders across the organisation. Translate business needs into clear reporting and data migration solutions. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations using Power BI . Perform data analysis and validation using Excel and other reporting tools. Support migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reporting continuity. Work independently and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Reporting Analyst , Migration Analyst , or similar role. Strong hands-on expertise with Excel (advanced formulas, data analysis, reporting). Strong experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI . Experience gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting system implementation, transformation, or migration projects. Ideal Candidate: Self-sufficient and proactive. Comfortable challenging stakeholders and driving requirements discussions. Able to hit the ground running without extensive training or hand-holding. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
