PainterThe core responsibility of the Painter is to ensure all items passing through the powder coat booth are painted to a high-quality standard. The role requires adherence to values such as innovation, commitment, passion, integrity, teamwork, and relationship building.ResponsibilitiesStand and paint all parts for extended periods throughout the shift.Recognize and apply various paint color extensions.Apply powder coat with expertise.Operate all functions of the Nordson paint booth efficiently.Adapt and perform in a fast-paced environment.Communicate ideas and issues promptly.Maintain high-quality standards.Work collaboratively in a team-oriented manner.Change paint colors swiftly in one minute and 20 seconds.Paint manually at a speed of 10 feet per minute.Maintain 5S standards in the department.Essential SkillsPrevious powder coat experience is preferred.Basic computer knowledge.Ability to read prints.Flexibility in work schedule, able to work 10 hours a day for a 4-6-month period.Dependable and reliable work schedule maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Degree or GED is preferred.Prior paint prep experience is preferred.Experience with painting, paint prep, masking, taping, metal sanding, and using hand tools like grinders.Why Work Here?This role offers full-time employment with good benefits upon becoming a full-time employee. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
