Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position in Michigan, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work in a 22-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care unit
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (0700–1930)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Floating required on an as-needed basis
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting performed in Cerner Powerchart

Requirements

• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• CPI certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Caribbean Blue scrubs required
• No time off can be approved in early July
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
