Job Description

Duties

• Establish planning, programming, and budgeting for prime contractor and supporting organization activities necessary for assigned flight avionics development program(s).
• Define contract scope, requirements, and deliverables for prime contractor and supporting organization activities necessary to execute assigned flight avionics development program(s).
• Provide program management and technical oversight of prime contractor and supporting organizations necessary to execute assigned flight avionics development program(s) within cost, technical, and schedule objectives.
• Independently communicate through written and oral venues across all organizational levels to communicate fiscal, programmatic, contractual, or technical status on critical items.
• Collaborate across multiple government and contractor organizations to pursue and develop integrated and common solutions.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing the entire life-cycle from budgetary, planning, and programming stages to implementation for short- or long-range programs; leading and participating in multi-disciplinary working groups with contractors, consultants, and government personnel to analyze and resolve complex design, development, and operational challenges.
