Ideal candidates have experience as a paraprofessional in school settings and are passionate about making a difference in young learners’ lives by providing support to teachers and students. This position is perfect for patient, flexible, and caring individuals ready to collaborate within a dedicated team.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or classroom assistant in a school environment
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive atmosphere for students
• Capacity to assist in both academic and behavioral support
• Ability to collaborate with lead teachers and special education staff
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adaptability to different classroom settings and student needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction under teacher direction
• Assist with small group and one-on-one learning activities
• Foster student engagement and encourage positive social interactions
• Provide support for students with special needs, maintaining patience and empathy
• Help with daily routines, transitions, and classroom management
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies
