Under the direction of the Director of F&B the F&B Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for the daily operations of Saint Kate's food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service, quality, and operational excellence. Recognized as one of Milwaukee's most esteemed hotels with an elite award repertoire, Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel offers a modern, luxury experience with artistic flair. With a prime location in Milwaukee's Theater District, Saint Kate serves as a creative hub for the city, where every aspect of the hotel is inspired by music, painting, sculpture, and design. As a part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, we engage a diverse audience of theater enthusiasts, food connoisseurs, and entertainment seekers.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Assist in the day-to-day management of all food and beverage outlets, including The Bar, The Studio, In-Room Dining, The Dark Room (private dining), Upper Bar and support Proof Pizza as needed.
• Lead, coach, and develop outlet associates through hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance management, and recognition.
• Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the floor to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
• Coach associates to consistently deliver high-quality service and provide ongoing feedback to improve performance.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service standards, taking corrective action when needed.
• Assist in developing promotions, programming, and sales initiatives to drive revenue and enhance the guest experience.
• Manage labor, inventory, ordering, product costs, and waste to achieve departmental financial goals.
• Partner with Culinary, Banquets, Front Desk and other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and execution.
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
• Follow all company, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and cash handling.
• Serve as a role model for service excellence by demonstrating company standards, procedures, and hospitality expectations.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in hospitality, restaurants, hotels, or a related service industry.
• Strong knowledge of restaurants and food & beverage operations.
• Ability to train, coach, and support team members while fostering a positive work environment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and leadership.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and high level of guest service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, lifting, reaching, and twisting.
