Job Opportunity: Abdominal/Body Imager

Our organization is currently in search of a fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Abdominal/Body Imager for a full-time role within our Body Imaging Division, located in Manhattan and Long Island.

About the Body Imaging Section

The Body Imaging team, consisting of 12 professionals, is dedicated to delivering services for both inpatient and outpatient practices across multiple campuses, handling a diverse array of clinical cases. Candidates should ideally possess expertise in all facets of abdominal imaging, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopic examinations. Our faculty is committed to achieving clinical excellence while also educating a 44-member radiology residency program. There are ample opportunities for research, interdisciplinary collaboration, mentorship, and personal development. Overnight coverage is managed by a specialized Emergency Radiology Section.

Position Overview

We are also expanding our team at our Long Island site, which features a cutting-edge, 80,000 square foot ambulatory facility in Huntington. This multi-specialty group offers a vibrant environment for a physician to thrive, catering to a large and varied patient demographic across Huntington and other nearby locations.

Additionally, our South Nassau location, part of a high-quality 16-member radiology group in the New York metro area, is also looking to recruit a full-time radiologist with specialized training in Body Imaging due to increasing patient volumes at both existing sites and a new imaging center. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in advanced body imaging techniques while maintaining proficiency in general radiology. Our practice covers all subspecialties, with all radiologists providing general diagnostic coverage on call.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid New York Medical License.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $275,000 to $575,000, excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits.

Salary Disclosure: Our organization provides a salary range in compliance with New York City’s Salary Transparency law. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as experience, specialties, historical productivity, and community needs. Therefore, the final salary may be closer to either end of the range or, in some cases, may fall outside the listed range. This salary range applies to full-time employment and does not include bonuses or benefits.
