Assist physicians in the care and teaching of patients Travel to clinics in Lake City, Gainesville, Palatka, and Fleming Island Assess patient needs and condition React calmly and effectively in emergency situations Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Support world-class community cancer care at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute Requirements Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Residence Experience in IV therapy Ability to assess patient needs and condition Strong critical thinking skills Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment Fluency in English Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability and willingness to travel to clinics Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital preferred but not required Must pass background, drug, and nicotine screenings New hires must receive required vaccinations, including influenza, barring an approved exemption Must be willing to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no nights or weekends Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in patient assessment and IV therapy, with strong critical thinking and communication skills.
