We're looking for a skilled Machinist to join our machine shop team. You'll operate a variety of machining tools to manufacture and repair parts to exact specifications, playing a key role in keeping production running safely and on schedule.

What you'll do

Manufacture and repair products safely and on schedule
Operate and maintain assigned machine tools and workstation
Deburr all parts to ensure they meet spec and are free of sharp edges
Perform daily maintenance and inspection of all equipment in your work area
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Complete additional duties as directed by the Machine Shop Manager

What we're looking for

Experience operating machining tools and reading engineering specs
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
Ability to work scheduled overtime and shift work
Solid time management and organizational skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Basic reading, writing, and communication skills
Team-oriented mindset

Work environment

This is a primarily indoor, enclosed shop environment. Some facilities may not be climate controlled, so candidates should be comfortable working in varying temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions is possible.

Schedule: 50+ hrs/week / 12 hours shifts, both day and night shifts

Lifting requirement: Up to 50 lbs

Work location: New Iberia, LA
