Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.POSITION OVERVIEWAs a Senior Manufacturing Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include:Support the development, onboarding, and growth of suppliers as the company strategically increases the quantity of parts it purchases from external Supply Chain partners.Ensure stable and capable manufacturing processes are in place to allow delivery of product at customer demand rate.Be involved at all stages of the product lifecycle including influencing design at concept stage, supplier assessment and selection, identifying key process characteristics, manufacturing/assembly process and controls development, process capability analysis, and management of change.Play a critical role in ensuring product integrity as parts are transferred to suppliers and work as part of a cross-functional team to assess and mitigate technical risk.QUALIFICATIONSMost importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Senior Manufacturing Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant subject (ex: Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain); Manufacturing, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering is a plusMinimum of 7 years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineering environmentExperience in Complex Machined Parts and Gears is a requiredSpecialist technical experience, examples metallurgy, processing knowledge, metrology, GD&T, electrical motor assemblies.Experience with supplier improvement efforts, with organization, seeking input for best practices using customer communication and management.Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancingADDITIONAL INFORMATIONCompensation: Based on Experience.
