Make an immediate impact supporting K-5 students by providing essential speech and language services at an elementary school near San Marcos, CA. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August through mid-October, offering you the chance to help students with mild to moderate needs—along with a few who present more moderate challenges—develop vital communication skills in a nurturing school environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Current California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure and credentials
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working with mild to moderate student populations, ideally in a school setting
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Strong commitment to supporting diverse learners and working closely with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to elementary-aged students
• Assess and identify students requiring intervention; develop tailored IEP goals and monitor progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure holistic support for each child
• Maintain detailed and timely student records and documentation, contributing to IEP meetings as required
• Participate actively in school-based initiatives and team meetings to foster a supportive learning environment

You’ll work a consistent schedule of 7.5 hours per day, allowing for reliable work-life balance while gaining valuable school-based experience. The contract structure provides stability for the duration of the assignment and the chance to work with a supportive school community.
