Director of Nursing (DON) – Skilled Nursing Facility
Fremont, Ohio

Are you a passionate nursing leader looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a well-established skilled nursing community? We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical team at our 82-bed skilled nursing facility in Fremont, Ohio.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful facility with a strong reputation, stable operations, and the support of an experienced Administrator. The building currently maintains a healthy census and offers specialized services including a ventilator unit and memory care/dementia unit .

What You'll Do

Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing services and clinical operations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Drive quality outcomes and resident satisfaction initiatives
Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional resident care
Monitor clinical systems, infection prevention, documentation, and quality measures
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on resident-centered care

Qualifications

Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
Previous Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey process
Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Commitment to clinical excellence and quality resident outcomes
