Key Responsibilities

• Create mechanical designs of mining equipment’s from concept through production release
• Develop and manage SolidWorks models, assemblies, and detailed drawings to internal standards
• Create and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics with minimal oversight
• Partner with sales and production teams to troubleshoot field and manufacturing issues
• Review and provide technical guidance and design feedback
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and documentation standards

REQUIREMENTS

Ideal Background

• Bachelor`s degree in Mechanical Engineering required; coursework or certifications in Machine Design, Hydraulic Systems, or Electrical Systems preferred
• 3 to 6 years of mechanical design engineering experience
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD; strong drafting and GD&T skills
• Solid working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
• Demonstrated ability to read, create, and redline hydraulic and electrical schematic drawings
• Experience designing custom mining machines which are electrically and hydraulically operated is a strong advantage
