Packaging Associate

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm (Need to confirm)

Pay Rate: $19/hour

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, reliable Packaging Associate to join their team. In this role, you will assemble, inspect, and package materials efficiently while meeting quality and production standards. You will perform both manual packaging tasks and operate basic packaging machinery. Training on equipment, safety, and operational documentation will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and follow detailed work instructions accurately.
• Assemble, sort, and hand-count or scale-count finished parts.
• Package, bag, and label products according to job specifications.
• Operate basic machinery, including bag sealers, tape sealers, and packaging dunnage equipment.
• Inspect packaged items to ensure lot numbers, part numbers, and quantities match labels correctly.
• Pack and tape boxes for shipment.
• Log labor hours and part counts accurately in production records.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and communicate any equipment or quality issues to supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Flexibility to work 1st shift, split shift, or 2nd shift as needed.
