Senior Network Engineer

Purpose The Senior Network Engineer designs, implements, and supports enterprise network infrastructure across Roseburg. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networks, while contributing to the evolution of network architecture and standards. Key Responsibilities Design, install, support and maintain physical IT related infrastructure including Cisco network switches, routers Design, install, support and maintain advanced collaboration tools such as Cisco CUCM, Webex, and Video Conferencing EndpointsDesign, install, support and maintain complex LAN and WAN infrastructure including Cisco software defined network (SDN) architecturesDesign, install, support and maintain Cisco Wireless LAN technologiesDesign, install, support and maintain network security infrastructure.Prefer experience with Cisco ISE as well as Cisco and Palo Alto security appliancesUnderstands and integrates state-of-the-art technology hardware and software components associated with RoseburgCreate and maintain technical documentationDevelop technical solutionsConduct system analysis using appropriate analysis models and toolsConduct site surveys as requiredMonitor the Service Desk trouble ticket tracking system and provide Tier 3 support as needed.Move and/or unbox new equipment, mount racking servers, helping other Engineers with cabling, and support the installation and maintenance of data center power and cool infrastructure.Provide On call support 24/7/365Other responsibilities as assignedModel Company core values Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in IT or related field, and 6 years of experience in networking, LAN/WAN, and communications or an equivalent amount of training, education, and experienceAbility to deliver quality service that meets or exceeds all customer expectations while upholding high ethical standards and Roseburgs core valuesAbility to maintain composure and professionalism in all situationsExcellent verbal, listening and written communication skills; ability to build and sustain effective relationships across all levels of the organizationWilling to take personal responsibility for continuous learning, job knowledge and skillsAbility to show and drive results Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, high accuracy, and sound documentation practicesAbility to work collaboratively in a highly functional team environmentAbility to work on multiple priorities, resolve conflicting demands, and execute project tasks on scheduleStrong critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills making timely and quality decisions Preferred Qualifications Cisco CCNPPalo Alto Network Security Professional
