Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking an Energy Management Systems Technician in Seattle, WA to install, program, and maintain EMS controls for commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems that optimize energy performance.

• Improve system reliability by implementing automated controls and alarm notifications

Responsibilities

• Install and program energy management systems for commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment

• Troubleshoot and repair EMS hardware and software issues

• Configure trending, alarms, and reporting features for facility monitoring

• Integrate EMS systems with existing building automation platforms

• Conduct system commissioning and provide operator training

• Perform preventive maintenance on EMS equipment and networks

• Document all installations, modifications, and service activities

• Collaborate with service technicians to optimize system performance

Requirements
Must-Haves

• 2+ years of experience with energy management systems or building automation

• Understanding of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Ability to read electrical schematics and control diagrams

• Strong computer skills and comfort with software configuration

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Emerson E2, Danfoss, or similar EMS platforms

• Knowledge of networking protocols and IT systems

• HVAC or refrigeration technical background

• Associate degree in electronics, computer science, or related field
