Pay - $130 per hourAbout the Role
[Your Company Name] is seeking a General Dentist (DDS or DMD) to provide on-site dental care at the Orlando VA Medical Center (Lake Nona) and, as needed, at nearby VA outpatient clinics. We are filling 2 full-time positions plus a substitute, for a steady, long-term contract engagement (base year plus four option years).
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, standard clinic hours 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Full-time equivalent: 2,080 hours/year
- Maximum 40 hours/week — no overtime
- Occasional evening, weekend, or holiday coverage may be required with at least 2 weeks' notice
- Occasional travel to other OVAHCS clinics may be required
Compensation
- $130/hour
- Weekly or bi-weekly direct deposit
- Malpractice/professional liability insurance provided
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in any U.S. state or territory (Florida license required prior to start)
- Current BLS certification
- Active DEA registration
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Ability to pass VA credentialing/privileging (VetPro) and background vetting
- Clean OIG exclusion list status
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
