Electrophysiology Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 4x10-Hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30).

The Electrophysiology Technician is responsible for performing specialized procedures in the Electrophysiology lab. This role requires a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology procedures, and associated technologies. Technicians are expected to contribute to efficient lab operations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cardiac ablation and mapping procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and responses during procedures.
• Assist with the insertion and programming of AICDs and pacemakers.
• Participate in tilt table studies.
• Act as a room circulator while maintaining a sterile field.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an EP lab required; experience in Cath and IR preferred.
• RCVT preferred; ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RCIS certification is also preferred in addition to required certifications.
• Must be nicotine-free with a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen required.
• All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission.
