Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a Group Leader to support a manufacturing client in Flint, MI . This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations across manual and automated assembly stations, material flow, and related equipment. The Group Leader will manage a team of 10–20 hourly production employees , ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and output standards
• Maintain and enforce standard work, safety procedures, and lean manufacturing best practices
• Monitor and manage production schedules and quality requirements
• Track and improve attendance, performance, and workforce productivity
• Coach, develop, and support hourly employees while driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee and support machining operations as needed to ensure production continuity
• Conduct troubleshooting of production tracking and quality control systems
• Analyze production performance, quality data, and maintenance trends to identify root causes of issues

Compensation: $35/hour

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
