Registered Nurse, Operating RoomARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Operating Room (Day Shift) in Polson, Montana.Location: Polson, MTAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/Shift: This position requires 8-hour shifts, 4 days a week, with the possibility of 10-hour shifts. It includes variable call on weekends and nights, requiring 8 shifts per month, with every 3rd or 4th weekend depending on rotation and time-off requests.Job Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room, encompassing all areas of the surgery department including Pre/Post op, Circulating, PACU, and Endo. This role demands flexibility and the ability to float between surgical units and assist other departments as needed.Responsibilities:Provide nursing care in the Operating Room and assist with surgical procedures.Float between Pre-op, OR, PACU, and Endo as needed.Maintain patient safety and uphold infection control standards.Document care accurately in the Epic EMR system.Required Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical environment.Previous charge experience is preferred.Must have experience working in critical access hospitals.Certifications/Licensure:Current RN licensure in the state of Montana (compact license accepted).ACLS, BLS certifications are required.NIHSS and PALS certification preferred.About ARMStaffing:Founded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
