The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist (GG-0346-14) to work at the Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, Logistics Branch, JBSA-Lackland, San Antonio, TX. Member will serve as the Chief of Air & Ground COMSEC Logistics Section and will be the overall Life Cycle Logistics (LCL) Product Support Manager (PSM) overseeing and managing the development and implementation of all Air & Ground COMSEC Program product (weapon system) support strategy and single point of contact throughout the system's life cycle for a major defense acquisition program (ACAT I‑MDAP), a major weapon (ACAT II), or a Milestone Decision Authority (MDA) designated as (ACAT I, ACAT II, ACAT III) a special interest program. Reports directly to the Director of Logistics and is accountable for all product support matters regarding cost, schedule, performance, and supportability for a program/program segment of national significance. The incumbent's portfolio may include other graded ACAT program or programs and Sustainment Management Execution for a fielded system or systems. This total life cycle PSM directly supports the PM at Milestone Reviews, presented to the MDA. Position is designated critical‑sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non‑disclosure agreement must be signed. Knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information is required. This position is Acquisition Category L‑ Life Cycle Logistics Level III and incumbent must meet appropriate certification requirements IAW the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) no later than 24 months after accepting this position. Employees are required to submit an initial and annual OGE Form 450 (Confidential Financial Disclosure Report) in accordance with the Joint Ethics Regulation. Knowledge of the logistics management principles, concepts, policies, and laws; logistics functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve logistics problems; and all aspects of life cycle integrated logistics support. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the staff of an organization including special study teams and task forces composed of members from different organizations and commands. Knowledge of Air Force Strategic Operations for the 21st century (AFSO 21) principles to identify problems and generate innovative solutions.
