Research Account Manager, Flow Cytometry - San Francisco / North Bay

Becton Dickinson & Co

Waters seeks an Account Manager for Flow Cytometry in the San Francisco/North Bay region to drive territory growth through new business development, customer relationship expansion, and solution-based selling. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on commercial execution in the life sciences market.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute data-driven territory strategy aligned with market opportunities and growth vectors
Proactively create, qualify, and advance new business opportunities while managing competitive displacement
Build multi-level customer relationships and navigate complex stakeholder networks for account expansion
Deliver consultative selling that positions integrated solutions across instruments, consumables, services, and software
Lead deal cycles from qualification through close, managing complex negotiations and forecast accuracy

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or related field
3–5+ years of sales or commercial experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities and customer relationships simultaneously
Willingness to travel within assigned territory
Experience with capital equipment and solution-based selling preferred
Familiarity with Flow Cytometry and laboratory environments preferred
