Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a combined ER/Med Surg unit requiring 2 years of recent ER and Med Surg experience plus ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and NRP certifications. Requirements Active SD or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required before start TNCC certification required NRP certification required, onsite completion may be approved PALS certification required Minimum 2 years RN experience required 6 months of ER experience within the past year required 6 months of Med Surg experience within the past year required Responsibilities Acute care setting covering combined ER/Med Surg unit with 25 beds EPIC EMR used for charting along with Sanford One Chart and Pixis medication systems Day/Night rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week Every other weekend and holiday required 3 call shifts required during the 13-week contract Floats between ER and Med Surg units Med Surg nurse to patient ratio typically 3-4 to 1 depending on census and acuity Functions independently in ER and manages up to 5 patients in Med Surg Provide nursing care across both ER and Med Surg units, including independent ER functioning Training includes EPIC computer training, 1 day of ER training, and 1 day of Med Surg training Navy scrub dress code required, no logos; white may be worn under uniform or as a lab coat All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis Accepts local candidates within an 80-mile radius at a reduced bill rate Candidates who previously worked for the health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-773979 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
