For more information regarding salary and other details please visit Under the direct supervision of a designated supervisor, makes tracings and freehand drawings for simple duplication processes. Examples of Duties Meet with clients to define project scopes, objectives, and deadlines; handle routine correspondence. Design diverse print and digital materials—including postcards, signs, posters, brochures, newsletters, forms, books and decals—using Adobe InDesign as our core tool, alongside Illustrator and Photoshop. Ensure all layouts, imagery and typography conform strictly to university branding standards and visual guidelines. Update archived files and maintain current files in most up-to-date file format. Prepare production proofs for clients, integrate feedback, and secure final approvals. Inspect, correct, and format digital files for printing to ensure accuracy prior to production. Create and manage data merges and layouts using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Excel, adhering to postal regulations for direct mail. Determine sheet sizes and create the most efficient digital imposition using industry software. Evaluate project requirements to select the best stock types, sizes, and bindery methods while balancing costs and availability. Prioritize projects, maintain order specifications, and track project statuses to meet deadlines. Utilize automation for repetitive formatting tasks and help develop internal workflows that improve overall efficiency. Advise on best practices for visual communication and provide technical experience regarding graphic design, prepress operations and project operations. Evaluate proofs and maintain high-quality, consistent final outputs. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
